My Bio - written in the third person

Marie Younkin-Waldman is a published writer. Her credits include: Regular columnist at The South County Independent, a Rhode Island newspaper, a book of essays Simply South County, Gentility Press. She is currently working on To Hear The Birds Sing, a memoir of how technology has changed her life and enabled her to hear. Marie has also had poetry published in the European edition of The Herald Tribune.

Marie recently completed a seven year stint as writer, host and producer of a Rhode Island television interview show, Tea with Marie, that focused on topics and talents related to beauty, gentility and tranquilty. She currently produces televison specials from time to time.

Marie lives in Narragansett, RI with her husband, Myron Waldman. She has four adult children and seven grandchildren. She is active in her church, book club and French group and loves gardening, singing and performing.
